    Derby v West Ham

    TEAM NEWS

Derby defender Mark O'Brien underwent knee surgery in midweek after suffering a serious injury in training and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Centre-half Jake Buxton could be recalled to the squad as cover.

The Hammers lose skipper Kevin Nolan, Julien Faubert and George McCartney to suspension after all were cautioned in the Boxing Day draw at Birmingham.

Manager Sam Allardyce will be keenly aware that James Tomkins could be his only available central defender.

    MATCH FACTS

    Head-to-head

    • Both Derby and West Ham have won 22 league games against each other, with 23 of the 67 clashes ending all square.

    • West Ham are looking to complete a second successive double over the Rams, having won both matches in the 2007/08 Premier League season, and 3-1 at Upton Park in the Championship last month.

    • The Hammers need to score five times to total 100 league goals against Derby; the Rams are one shy of 100 competitive goals against West Ham.

    Derby County

    • Mid-table Derby are looking for a third win in four outings.

    • The Rams have only exited a calendar year with maximum points once in the last nine (2006).

    • Nigel Clough's club is the only one not to have scored in the last 15 minutes of a Championship game.

    West Ham United

    • Second-placed West Ham have won one of their last four league games, having won seven of the previous eight.

    • They are looking to add to their unequalled 24 away points, by being the first to claim eight wins on the road in this Championship season.

    • The Hammers are boasting their best points total after the first 23 games for 21 years.

What a fupping joke. Piquionne and Nouble up front. Not a chance in hell of either of them scoring. Why recall Hall? Unbelievable

Subs: Baldock, Sears, Carew, Cole and Hall. NO KEEPER!

wohoo piquionne .. Jesus, what is Fat Sam thinking ? Cole has got to be injured, when he is not even in the subs or he is getting sold in January, which means we are completely screwed then..

EDIT: Oops my mistake, completely misread the subs somewehere... Cole and Baldock,, I have more faith now .. Wohoo Cole is the super sub and Baldock needs 30 mins in the 2nd half.. Let's do it! Hall could be the big surprise.. I like this bench! except of course there is no goal keeper as Tony said lol..

O'Neil and Reid back. Gret, but I would not expect too much of them right now.

I'll say this is going to be a 0-0 draw, possibly 1-1 if we get a penalty and Noble scores, bnut wonders are still happening around the world, so let's go all in! COYI! WH Flag
Edit: With Cole on the bench we might win this with one goal difference, but we gotta stay sharp in the defence and replace piquionne asap that lazy bum. Coyi! p.s. Piquionne will score now, I know it Very Happy Maybe hattrick ? It is fate..

BFS must have been on the hit and miss! Piquiooneee and No balls! WTF Telling

Five forwards on the bench, no keeper and no defenders..........and some have shown how shite they are at tracking back!

Only positives are Cole and Baldrick coming off the bench in the second half to have a go at them, but I dont like the look of this side at all! bare bones, bare bones, bare bones, praise the w**k of the Lord!!! nailbiter

To be fair to the away fans, they are making plenty of noise despite the uncertain start made by their team. West Ham have yet to mount an attack of any note.

Sam wants us to lose apparently. What is it with managers and the fear of making a substitution before the 60th minute ? I thought Sam had some bollicks..

"good spell by West Ham", she says..

Nouble hits the goal, saveed by the goalie. out for a corner.. pressuring now..

Potts recovered from his bad spell.. Noble wastes a free kick, damn this is not the day when Noble should forget his shooting boots.
