Re: Transfer Update From whufc.com
The Edar rumours appear to be flying around .. as for the other one ..god knows
I can really only see one more addition
Rangers are taking the piss wanting 8-9M for the Jelly
Rhodes price shot out of sight the moment he bagged that 5th goal against wycombe
Sordell's price is going up and up each week
Maynard wants prem only
seems to me the moment we are linked with any player the price is hiked up , a lot of these are just good championship or lower players but have the price tag heading towards to £10M mark
its madness

Ze Eduardo: Arriving in England for Hammers deal

Sky Sports understands that West Ham United are hoping to tie up a deal for Brazilian striker Ze Eduardo before Tuesday's transfer window deadline.
The Hammers have been working all January to bring in at least one big-name striker.
After failing with bids for the likes of Jordan Rhodesand Nikica Jelavic, they have now made progress with a move for highly-rated Ze Eduardo.
The Genoa striker only signed for the club 12 months ago when they paid Santos £4million for his signature, but he was unable to make his debut for the Serie A outfit as his Italian passport did not come through in time.
As a result he was loaned back to Santos and scored seven goals in 16 games, before returning to Genoa to begin his Italian career late last year.
He made his debut against Milan in early December and has been regularly involved - mainly from the bench - since then.
But now West Ham look to have made progress and are ready to land him on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Sources in Italy have confirmed to Sky Sports that the player is due to fly in to London on Monday morning.

Re: Transfer Update From whufc.com
According to the fount of all wisdom (wiki ) He is 24, 5'10", striker has played a totoal of 54 first team games for Santos, Americas and Genoa (Only four games for Genoa) and scored 14 goals. He cost them around £4 and has an Italian passport somehow! Loan with a view to buy maybe, but will take a good while to settle into the chumps league. We need someone who can slot straight in and score goals consistantly at this level, Maynard, Rhoades, Sharp may be cheaper in the long termn and also provide the short term goals.

Re: Transfer Update From whufc.com
Another one I've never heard of 12 goals from midfield is good in any league, but we need a proven striker, and unless we improve our offer, which is basically what barnsley are saying we aint getting him, in this window

From Sky Sports
Sam Allardyce believes West Ham have dropped their interest in Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic after finding a potential transfer 'too expensive'.
Rangers chairman Craig Whyte and West Ham chairman David Sullivan had held casual talks over the striker as the Hammers seek reinforcements to boost their push for the Premier League.
But Hammers boss Allardyce says they have been priced out of the race for the Croatian frontman, who is also being linked to Everton.
The West Ham boss told Sky Sports News: "If I'm led to believe where it is at the moment, for us it was too expensive.
"Too expensive - full stop." Nearly as good as an " END OF "
Asked if the club had dropped their interest in the striker, he replied: "Yes."

Frank Nouble: Turned down a move to Crawley Town

Sky Sports understands West Ham striker Frank Nouble has turned down a move to Crawley Town.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week Crawley were hoping to sign Nouble after agreeing a fee with West Ham for the 20-year-old.
The England Under 19 international, who scored on his only start for West Ham in the Championship this term against Derby, is well down the pecking order at Upton Park.
However, Nouble, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has snubbed the offer at Crawley and is ready to fight for his place at West Ham.
"I am flattered by the interest from Crawley, but I have turned down the chance to move there," Nouble told Sky Sports.
"I have scored in the Championship and I did well out on loan at Gillingham and I want to fight for my place at West Ham.
"I believe I can do a job in the Championship for West Ham if I am given the chance."

Re: Transfer Update From whufc.com
Academy striker Paul McCallum has joined League One side Rochdale on a short-term loan.
McCallum, 18, will stay with the Dale until the beginning of March. The annoucement comes a year to the day after the Streatham-based youngster signed for West Ham for an undisclosed fee from Dulwich Hamlet.
The 6'3" youngster, who only started playing competitive football at the age of 15 will join fellow Hammer Peter Kurucz (pictured above) at Spotland; the Hungarian goalkeeper has been on loan with Rochdale since the beginning of January.
It has also been confirmed today that Kurucz will remain at Spotland for the remainder of the season.
