Re: Bobby Moore Fund
The Students Union have been promoting this here.
I was informed by 'management' that staff could not participate in case it caused 'conflict'. I pointed out that between me, the tame bushwacker, the spuds and the gooners we are quite capable of maintaining a healthy level of conflict with out the appearance of a football shirt.
I also told them that I would be wearing mine and they could treat is as a disciplinary matter if they wish.

Re: Bobby Moore Fund
The student union have the following rules;
- All club football shirts are welcome.
- No national team shirts.
- They must be replica first team shirts and not t-shirts.
- Minimum donation is £2 but the higher up the league your team is the more money you are expected to pay.
- Those wearing Chelsea shirts may be subject to (and I quote) cruel and unusual punishment. (The head of the student union is a Fulham fan).
- Those who wear West Ham or Fulham shirts with Moore on the back will get a free coffee and cake in the SU coffee shop.

Re: Bobby Moore Fund
Because I have kicked up such a massive fuss my boss has decided to back me...
She has said that the entire Directorate can participate however there is a huge BUT.
I need to name an amount and if we raise it I have to wear the Fire Safety Officers Spurs shirt....

Re: Bobby Moore Fund
Seeing as I am now over 60, every couple of years I get "invited" to take part in the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, and my test kit has just come in the post. Now playing poo-sticks with the kit is not very pleasant or very dignified, but then neither is dying of bowel cancer, so I shall grit me teeth and get on with it. And if my results prove negative again I'll be making another grateful donation to Bobby's fund - seems only right and fitting.

A Millwall bloke over here just got bowel cancer , worked on a few jobs with him . They caught it early so it should be ok , found out through a blood test they took from him , so you dont have to worry about getting the middle one up you starfish boys . Check it out people .
