to create a league 3

Premiership teams will not be able to progress higher than League 1


Great, so Basically our Conference south teams get relegated one tier of the football pyramid  

Really struggling to think what they would achieve by doing this.

 

Money, no doubt.

according to Greg Dyke on talksport earlier , Premiership clubs will be given a funds to let their B team compete in it

This is supposed to enhance the young England players, to what extent will it be advantageous for some young lad like Fanimo to be sent into the stands in an X rated tackle byt a league two clogging defender

Dyke is supposed to have looked into why the likes of Spain are well in advance of the England in terms of technique etc

he has traveled and spent a lot of the FA's cash on his fact finding missions

yet failed to spot the basic and most simplistic fact of all

England has 3,000 full time coaches
Spain has 24,000

I have to pay £1500 for my next Football Coaching course. In Germany it would be £280. There lies the problem #SayNoToLeague3

We definitely need a competitive league for our reserve players, but this ain't it.

seems like a totally dumb idea to me

yes, we need more (better) english players to compete in international competition

but this doesn't help.

the sad thing is, the last time we were really competitive at international level was in the days when there were limits on foreign players or just not the incentive to have a bunch of johnny foreigners in your team

the European union and bosman decision has completely destroyed that possibity, so we need to find a way of attracting domestic talent into the game.

it's not like the lure of becoming a millionaire by the time you're 20 just for kicking a pigskin about isn't enough of an incentive to want to pursue a career in the footballs...

so what's the problem?

we're a country with a large enough population to find enough good players...

perhaps if they took the money they're wasting on Greg Van Dyke and put it into compulsory sports education as part of the curriculum, we might find a whole bunch more decent domestic footballers and also have a more active and healthier population to boot.

might help the cause a little if someone could go on there and correct all their school boy spelling/grammatical errors and also come up with a better argument against it than "it's against history".

Maybe we should take Greg Dyke's salary and invest in basic english comprehension.

nope not been on Facebook for a few years now Jiggs cos of work its best I stay off that sort of social media innit
