Re: Valon Behrami
a) why are you reading something with 't*tt*nh*m" in the title?
b) why are you making me click on something with "t*tt*nh*m" in the title?
c) I didn't think he was as bad as a lot of people made him out to be, so seeing him doing fairly well somewhere else doesn't surprise me.
Let's face it... we're the one team where Javier Mascherano couldn't even get a look in - yet he's been flying high in Europe and is off to the the World Cup - not even our beloved Tevez managed that one.

Re: Valon Behrami
maybe he has stopped concentrating on being a run run run player and improved his all round play....
if only Diame concentrated on his football rather than thinking I must do a step over as soon as I get the ball.

Re: Valon Behrami
I didn't mind VB, certainly wasn't the worst midfielder we had here by a long shot. Probably still have him in this current team over someone like Taylor

Re: Valon Behrami
Kind of missing the point
How come we sell a player for only £2M and yet a short time later he is worth £16M when he is no world beater and bang average
how comes every transfer we seem to be the ones that come off the worse

Re: Valon Behrami
He must be closer to 30 now? Personally that sounds a vastly over inflated price tag and will believe it when I see someone actually pay it.
As has been said, we are a club that didn't mash. All rhyme and reason soon leaves the building with west ham united.

Re: Valon Behrami
Maybe because we can't develop players and take them to their potential?
I don't think it's a hidden agenda or conspiracy!! Most fans do. Fact is some players work out some don't. And the team they are playing in makes a lot of difference-player suitability is a lot more crucial to styles and systems of play now days

Re: Valon Behrami
2008–2011 West Ham United 58 (4)
2011–2012 Fiorentina 40 (0)
2012–Napoli 48 (0)
played 58 games for us and flogged for £2M
plays only 88 games abroad and scores none and it yet now a £16M asking price
something it wrong with our transfer policy
Levy would get £20M

Re: Valon Behrami
Where has all this £2m stuff come from? Behrami left us for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £4.5m.

Re: Valon Behrami
Dan I believe it was reported that out of the £4m ish we got we had to pay the agent £2M to conclude the sale, that was when we was getting bent over on every deal, I am also sure that back then we had the highest agent fees in the league at the time.
