On a 5 year deal apparently. Lolz  rofl smiley

However, is this the end of Southampton? I think all their "star" players will move on. LLama & Lambert will surely go.

They have struggled with foreign managers, hopefully that will continue.  Pocket TIno to Spurts 830028484

What a genius that Levy is! Long may he continue his astounding run of success at the helm of the mighty Spurts! Actually I've got nothing against Pocket Tino, but I would love to see him join the long line of fupp-ups. Now we shall see if his success at Saints was largely due to the players he inherited, which is what I suspect. He certainly won't inherit much at Shite House Lane, all the Bale money has been spunked on crap and I think a lot of the Yid Army would have preferred Sherwood to yet another foreign wonderkid. Never mind, I'm sure he can rely on a decent payoff after a few months of failure - just like all the others.

I personally think it's he other way around- pocket time (!) moved on as he wasn't give the assurances that the stars were being retained (I.e deals where already under way to sell them)

Never quite get the "long line of fupp up's"  mentality if fans (including Spuds) Under Levy they have seen the most consistency of the last 30-40 years, are again a consistent top 6 club-in stature, placing and financial security.

Only thing I say about their fans is they have become deluded with their status; I personally would be very happy if my club was top 6 and verging on top 4 that hasn't seen a title for 40 years plus.

Levy should be ambitious; for its supporters and as a business investment-he does tend to sack at the oddest times.

Frankly, football people (fans, chairman and pundits) confuse me-never happy.

Personally I think Spurs are far from a failing team in the modern era-facts show that. Their main failure (to my delight-i am human ater all) ids seemingly to be unable to beat us consistently - I would trade that for us getting a few wins elsewhere though.
