Well a game of 2 halves. first 3-2 to Basingstoke, all over a piss poor Maidenhead yet they got 2, fun to watch as the comedy of errors was hilarious, 2 CB for Maidenhead should never be playing at this level
0-0 scrapy second half

Moore in goal is growing with first team football, shot stopping is very good, I have been impressed by Stu's improvement over the season though
Dickie, not his best game this season , I think though if he was playing a level or two up you would see a better player as the extra quality around him would allow him to be able to play out a bit more
0-0 scrapy second half

Interesting comments ...
Cheers there. Yep, I lived in Maidenhead for some four years or so, but didn't look out for them then. Got to remember they've been very lucky to stay in this division last couple of season, so for them minimal suyrvival is the name od the game ...

Re: Non-League Thread
Tough draw for us 0-0 at home against Sutton, I thought it was an enjoyable game to be honest although I heard some big time Charlie's from Sutton saying it was an awful game....maybe bitter at not beating a tin pot club as teams love to label us.
It was the same the week before beating Havant away 1-0, I read some of their fans slating us asking how our fans could possibly put up with watching a team like that every week. Seriously haven't got a clue what they are talking about, very rarely do we see a dull game, always fast attacking football, we don't play with a massive front man so long ball stuff isn't an option for us like a lot of teams I've seen. It seems that hard teamwork, energy and constant pressing is seen as horrible football to watch by a lot of fans at this level.

Seem your lot last time you was at the Camrose and to be honest even though we had better quality all over the park the better football was played by your lot, all on the floor and quick , take no notice mate, we have had it all season with Ebbsfleet and so far we have beaten them twice in the league and knocked the arrogant sods out of the FA cup
Win your game in hand and you can knock Ebbsfleet down another notch in the League
Huge game top and bottom tonight
Farnborough V Boreham
I want both teams to lose

Massive win tonight to complete the double over local rivals Chelmsford.
Didn't play very well but won it with a 40 yard volley from former hammers
youngster Taylor Miles

Chelmsford: A club that can spank a team in the top 3 one week and get spanked by a team in the bottom 3 a week later, they never seem to be able to keep any sort of run going

next 2 , Away at St Albans today
and away on Tuesday at Maidenhead (will be my first visit there)
Should be 6 points but got the feeling we will bugger it up in one of these games

Got away with a 1-1 yesterday, sounds like St Albans should have been 4 up at half time but went in only 1-0 up and we pulled a rabbit out of the hat in the second

Re: Non-League Thread
Really good game at Borehamwood yesterday, drew 0-0 but good entertainment.
Our keeper saved two 1 on 1's but that was about all they offered, we played some great stuff and I don't think they could have had any complaints if we had won it. One of our players will be missing our game at Whitehawk on Tuesday as he has been called up to the England C squad.

Brilliant from our lot last night, top notch 3-0 win at Maidenhead, only down side a group of their younger members decided to kick off as we left the ground , totally unprovoked attack on me and my mate

Conference South
Basingstoke v Concord
I hope you'll continue to talk to each other, and to me, afterwards!

Re: Non-League Thread
Very poor show from the Basingstoke yesterday, should have been 2 up in the first 15 mins, missed a sitter inside the first minute and went downhill from there on
played against 10 men for around an hour
Concord were very organised and deserved a point
can you find out why your man got sent off, I was only about 25 yrds away and should see no reason, same for all those around me, no idea why the red card came out

Re: Non-League Thread
From reports I've heard mate he was sent off for leading with an elbow when going for a header. Shame because from what I've read he was causing problems before being sent off, not the type of player to do something like that on purpose though.
