Wonder if Keith Rowland will join him again, he is supposed to be a very good coach from what I've heard.

I always go and watch the town V Reading U21, it is then that you realise even the upper league U21 are still at league 2 to Conf standards

Great to see Semedo get 45mins and tbf he should have scored in a goalless first half.
Tanner, Owusu, Fridjonsson and Kelly the only recognisable regulars from last seasons U21 team, meaning there were lots of youngsters on the pitch...especially in the 2nd half.
That said, we went 2-0 up with goals from Noor Husin and a wickedly deflected shot that looped up over their keeper...only for Basingstoke to bang in 3 goals in as many minutes late into the 2nd period to win the game 3-2.
Fair to say it was men against boys at times and although we played much the better football, we were out muscled and a bit overrun at the back towards the end.
Basingstoke should do well this season and with a certain James Harper anchoring the midfield for the entire game I suspect they will be tough to beat
Good run out for many of our youngsters.

Re: Non-League Thread
I went yesterday, was for most a drab training session game, it was very warm out there which also did not help
missed the last 2 Basingstoke goals as I could hear a pint calling for me in the clubhouse

Re: Non-League Thread
I fear it may be a tough season for us, the new manager has big shoes to fill, a bit like when Fergie left the Mancs

Re: Non-League Thread
Know the feeling mate, Every team around us seems to have spent a bloody fortune this season to push on a lot, We have the same squad to a man with the exception of the keeper who to be fair is pretty good,
Middle of the table for us
Not hearing good things coming out from the board either ( I have a mole / pug)
