    Tomkins?

Post  SemiOldIron on Tue 19 Aug 2014, 4:33 pm

Can anyone update me on what's happening? Last I heard he had gone to magistrates court, the police had lost some cctv evidence, and the court date would have to be arranged if they found it again. Anyone know any more than that? is he currently fit and available to play?

I don't know anything about his court case but he is NOT fit to play. He currently has a hamstring injury which he picked up in training last Friday. With him out and Ginge suspended it is already "bare bones" at the back for Saturday. Yet again we are going to suffer because BFS has gone into the season with only 3 recognised centre backs. Deja vu?

don't worry faithful followers... so long as we continue to play Carlton Cole up front we'll be banging in so many goals it won't matter how many the defense concedes...

It's a pity that he's such a fabulously effective goalscorer, or we could have tried converting him to a centre back. doh

actually... Cole's best contribution to the game is his defensive headers...

thing is... they're exactly like his attacking headers but oh so more effective when at the back and not the front...

the clueless one will stick Cheikhou Kouyaté at centre back with Reid and play a half fit Tomkins in centre midfield.
