The Everton Cup game will be our fourth game in eight days; two of the others are Chelsea and Arsenal. Rotation without weakening will be a huge challenge. It stands as one of the worst possible draws for us, given we have only won there twice since 1983. Will take a draw and get them back to Upton Park under the lights.

Hopefully playing a blue team away will be one in the eye for the club's disgraceful 'purple shirt home and away in the Cup' plan though. I find it appalling that the club are pushing a third shirt which hasn't made the light of day in the first half of the season onto supporters by ditching the traditional claret and blue at home in a competition which is the very hallmark of footballing tradition.
