True that... but I have to say... if we had Diame on the bench to come on to support this team... we'd be unstoppable...

we have to play better in the next two games... but for once we actually have the players that make you feel confident that it can be done.

we're in the 2nd minute of the 3 of extra time... Adrian makes a great save to keep Leicester out and they win a corner... they will not stop...

but we're still 2-0 up... in 4th place in the Prem and only 9 points form 'safety' and it's not even Christmas

West Ham United V Leicester City - Page 2 780148547  i was worried about a slip up today. Clean sheet, form players kept on scoring (minus sakho), another home win...must be close to our best ever start to a season? Good times to be a hammer

Another brilliant result !! My only complaint is why does he leave so late in the game to take off Nolan ????
Bring on Chelsea boxing Day - we should go into this game and attack from the start as we have nothing to lose from this game Imo and with the way we are playing who knows that we could actually beat them !!

i think our best option against Chelsea is to do what we did against Liverpool... just storm out of the gates and try to blow them away.

Might not work exactly like it did - Chelsea are a way better team than the 'Pool - but it's the kind of game where we've nothing to lose by trying to take the initiative... trying to park the bus might not be the best strategy against the top placed team...

Same I agree with you , I think following last seasons 0-0 draw at their place they are going to expect a similar sort of game so if we go out from the start it could surprise them a little bit !

It was a bit nervy at times out there yesterday and to give Leicester their due they fought on.  In fact, I thought they weren't a bad team at all and am surprised they are bottom of the league.

There were moments when I thought we should take Song off for his own safety. Then Carroll went flying into the photographers. He smacked down onto the wall and disappeared for what seemed like ages.  It looked so bad and there was a deathly silence as we expected the worst.  Thankfully, he re-appeared, uninjured and ready to continue.

So was good to see Carroll score with his feet and of course Downing's sensational goal..  Other than that, just a very workmanlike stint at the office.  egypt

Agree with a lot of what Jiggs has said.

Love that we won and are 4th at Christmas. Would not have had us down for that at the beginning of the season.

Did not think we played that well and if we don't stepped it up against Chelsea can't see us getting anything.

Sign of a decent side; not playing that well but winning. Leicester didn't let us play to be fair. They had 10 men behind the ball most of the time. We were clinical though. Two shots on target - two goals

We will raise our game on Friday. I have no doubt about that. However, we cannot be as sloppy in possession as we were for the first 20 mins on Saturday

    BRING IT ON !!

Absolutely-dootely! For once we have enough ability all over the park to really worry Mourinho, let's see just how good we can be. scarf
