    Discipline problem or just naive?

Post  mottinghammer on Thu 30 Jul 2015, 9:48 pm

Have we suddenly got a real discipline problem at West Ham or are we just really naive in these Europa cup games? Three dismissals in three games , Tompkins out for the next game along with Ginge, we will have Sakho back for next week, which we will need as Valencia went off on a stretcher! And we have an uphill struggle next week in Romania having lost a 2-0 lead! Beginning to think we would be better off out of this cup already :-(

It is more naivety and downright play-acting which cost Sakho and Tomkins their red cards. Collins was just unprofessional and idiotic. He found himself in a bad position for the first yellow and took one for the team as their player would have been through on goal. For the second yellow he yet again found himself in a poor position against the same player - 4 mins after the 1st yellow - but this time there was cover but he committed an identical cynical foul

He cost us the game. End of
