Best I've seen for a wee bit. Hope we continue with these blokes for the next few games at least.
That was oustanding, and reminded me of the Man City game earlier. No coincidence, that Reid was Man of the match in both!
Onwards and upwards folks, our next 4 games are definetly winnable,

In some ways I agree with what your saying but I also kind of don't as Tomkins is not a out n out Right back ,
Winston Reid is by far our best defender and he showed just why he is on Saturday with another superb performance - I still think him and Tomkins in the middle is our best partnership
It`s just nice knowing for once we have decent cover at the back now in all Positions

Although our back 5 quite rightly got a lot of plaudits on Saturday it was having 3 midfielders in Song, Kouyate and Noble in front of them that protected them IMO. When we play with a two we have been carved apart in central midfield this season - particularly at home

I believe that Having Song in the team like with Payet it just seems to make the other players around them play better as , Song touches to get away from players on Saturday considering how long he had been out for were good and yea he misplaced a few of his passes but that`s to be expected after so long out
I really can`t wait for a Fit Song and Payet playing together in the same Team - Payet with his flare etc along with Song`s vision etc is going to be exciting to see n watch and also having Song in the team seems give Kouyate the freedom to Push up further up the Pitch

Come Late Feb/early March when the likes of Payet , Sakho and Poss Moses depending on How bad his Hamstring is are back along with Valencia we are going to have a strong end to the season I think

Just a quick question - it seems that we are more then likely to turn Lanzini`s loan into a Permanent deal ... should we do the same with Jenkinson n Song ? I think we should Tbh

    yeah that

Rumours were that Arsenal would want 10 million for him which is way too much from what I've seen of him this season.

I think we will go for a cheaper option who will hopefully defend better.

Jenkinson is having a rough patch at the moment - that's all. He proved last season that he is a good player. How quickly you all forget !

Jenks is a good player, but for the price Arsenal are asking I reckon there is better quality in the market out there, but we still need to think of the English quota, Spuds grabbed Trippier in the summer which I think should have been a target, I suspect he will be another Levy goldmine

How do you know exactly what Arsenal are asking? Wenger has stated that he is not for sale

The fact that he was put on a new 4 year contract in the summer means he aint gonna be less than £10M, market rate before that was reported at £8M,
Same goes for Moses, nice new contract just before a loan, in the hope his value goes up
as much as having these players helps us if they have good seasons we are making a mint for the loaning side

Why in January? We have them both until the end of the season

Because thats when the market opens, and in the case of Moses, we dont kow how long he will be sideline for, and when he does return, it will take him some time to regain full match fitness. With Jenks, The Arse will probably want him back, and have never really wanted to sell him to us. Just my thoughts Tone.
