So I thought I would compare this season far under Bilic to this time last season under Fat Sam to see if up to now we made the right choice in sacking Sam in the Summer

    2014/15 Under Allardyce
    Position :5th
    Points :31
    Games :18
    Wins :9
    Draws :4
    Loses :5
    Goals For :30
    Goals Against :21
    Goal Difference :+9

    2015/16 Under Bilic
    Position :10th
    Points :26
    Games :18
    Wins :6
    Draws :8
    Loses :4
    Goals for :26
    Goals Against :22
    Goal Difference :+4

I would personally say we are better under Bilic then we were under Allardyce despite being down on Points and Positioning in the table for the reasons being A) We have beaten better Teams this year B)We have had injuries to all our made Attacking players at the same time B)The same reason as B 5 of those draws can be considered good draws considering they came while we were without key players C) We are playing MUCH BETTER football this year

So overall I would say we made the right choice by sacking that Fat League Position on 27th December 14 and 27th December 2015 3725042725 in the Summer

I've still got an open mind about Bilic Arran. I'm glad we got fid of Sam but your figures show Sam had done better this time last year. I feel we have a top 10 squad now but I still see Bilic midfield being overrun by other teams which was no different then Sam. If we have trouble in settling players coming back from injury then we could be in the same situation we were in last season.

At the moment yea our midfield isn't playing to good BUT I believe that once Lanzini and Payet are back fit etc not many teams will get past our Midfield as you think when they are all fit it`s more then likely going to be Kouyate,Song,Payet,Lanzini and one of Moses or Noble - that's a tough midfield to get past IMO

This is why you gotta love the internet... here you have someone posting all the stats to compare Bilic to Allardyce... the only thing Bilic's team is 'better' at is Draws... DRAWS!!! Which, in a opts for a win and 1pt for a draw is not a good thing...

But here we have a perfect example of how people can look at something and only see what they want to see.

If Arran thinks we were right to sack Allardyce based on his first half results then surely logic dictates he should be calling for Bilic's head now... but of course, that doesn't fit in with his obviously pre-conceived notions of which manager he prefers.

Oh internet... how I do love thee...

I think we was all quite happy with the first half of last season, it's was very good. It saved Sam's job. I had a bet on the previous summer hed'd be the first manager to go. And then we came roaring out the blocks, playing some good football, sakho banging them in vardy style, downing looking like Leo messi, wins over big teams like city and Liverpool. Ah we all thought, the chairman have laid down some commandments and Sam has adapted, evolved, and has turned the corner....maybe he isn't so very bad after all...

Then Christmas came and went, and it was like the first half of the season never happened, downing was back on the wing rather then the tip of the diamond, the fans turned back or big Sam and we won three game in 17.

Less points this year, yes, but I definitely feel we are moving in the right direction. Thanks Sam for the promotions, keeping us up, the first half of last season.

Thanks billic for taking us onwards and upwards with more pleasing football and some love back to the fans.

Thanks the dodgy daves and lady Karen for EVERYTHING

5 of them Draws have come at the time we had ALL of our best attacking players out so picking up a point in those games can be considered good points - Plus we could of if luck was on our side Won a few them - United and Stoke being two to name ! Last we would probs of lost them as Sam would played the old sit back and lump it up tactics at least Bilic has tried to go for the wins !

We are playing much better football this year , Yea the defeats we have had have been disappointing but least par the spurs game the team tired their best at playing football even when losing which would never of happen under certain manager ! The whole team seems to be enjoying their football , Working hard for each other and their seems to be a real togetherness around the club some thing was we never ever ever had during the time Allardyce was here !

Look at sunderland now , If Allardyce was the "best" surley sunderland would of been picking up points etc , they have just as ashit record under Allardyce then did their pervious manager

He did have a tall order at Sunderland to be fair. But no, very happy as things are
