Re: Summer 2015 silly season
It's quite clever really, the press and supporters are so focused on the new manager that we may get a big name signing in with minimal fuss or attention (I.e the spuds won't high jack the big like they usually do)

Re: Summer 2015 silly season
Corluka a RB with a Russian side could be SB's first signing for £10m. Worked with Bilic before and we need at least 2 RB's having lost Jenkinson back to Le Arse and released Demel, all we have left is Joey O' flipping Brien, which is not reassuring :-(

Seemed to have missed out on Richards (who I rate) who has gone to villa. Tripier seems to have gone to spuds. So fingers crossed on jerks!

Re: Summer 2015 silly season
from what the rumours say
Dimitri Payet - 14M from Olympic M
Song - to return
Jenks - to retrun
However considering that the transfer window is still closed it could be a while before any movement

Re: Summer 2015 silly season
Thought it was first of July
Just had a read up , Its all a bit of a farce really, the Official day is July 1st but business can be done before that date
from what I can make out , you can not register a player before july 1st
Is there any point in a window??

Re: Summer 2015 silly season
Apparently we are after Moussa Dembele along with the Cheats, £12m as he is surplus to Pinochio's needs at spuds?
Cant see why we need another central midfield player when we are woefully short at RB, and need a striker who can stay fit.
Unless of course Nolan is on his way?

Ermm... no.
Although, in England, the transfer window formally opens on 1 July, transfers between clubs in the same association can take place as soon as the last competitive fixtures for the season have been played. However, many transfers will not be completed until 1 July because many players' contracts expire on 30 June.

Personally, I'd defy keep Jenks
Song, I'm not so sure. He was brilliant in the first half of the season, head and shoulders above everyone else in claret and blue and most of the opposition.
By the end of the season he was a passenger at best and could barely get a game... now is that down to bad man management by BFSA or is Song just not up to a full season?
I don't think he's cheap enough to be a viable passenger, so someone needs to figure out whether he really does have what it takes.

Arthur Negus would be proud of the headline should this be true.

Aymen Abdennour
rough translation of an Italian sports site
Upon the request of the club Montecarlo is 20 million, the West Ham it offers 18, the parties are working to find the agreement. After the interest of many Italian teams - Roma, Napoli, Inter - now the defense is really one step away from the Hammers
