good result... not a great performance.
2nd half was better than the first
couple of good goals - their keeper stopped it being a bigger result for us
nice 4 point cushion between us and the two teams below us
we do seem to have our entire fortune tied to Payet - last two games he's not been at his best - and neither have we
but only 1 point to safety...

I don`t understand why people are saying we played poorly yesterday , We dominated Villa from the Red card onwards , We did what we had to do and that was score I thought we played very well considering we don't do that well against 10 men usually !!
1 point from the 40 point mark with Saints Saturday and a chance to really open that gape up between us and 7th things are looking good
and to think this time last year we were losing and we have now actually gained a lot more points this year then this time last year !!

Payet played the pass into Valencia but it was Valencia who passed to Kouyate
