Well we're on a hiding to nothing, Spuds may well put out a less experienced team than the  one that thrashed the bin dippers but with us being a total basket case at the moment any score is likely. 

Heard on the radio, Norwich took 8,800 fans to the Emerites so how come we have only 4,800 tickets for Wembley?

Few of them, no all of them owe the fans a performance after Fridays complete bollix. 

As for ticket allocation I think this has been sorted out by the capacity that is allowed in by the police.
I think it's about 50k for this game due to two London teams.

As far as the game goes, I don't care about the score just want to see the back of Bilic.

Kayoute puts in a great cross to the 6 yard box... Carroll is our only player there and gets nowhere near it...

the ball comes out to the Spuds... and a couple of quick passes put whoever the fupp plays for them through on goal with no one around him and slots it simply past the advancing Adrian...

total shite... but pretty much what we were expecting.

call me crazy... and you're free to bash Kayoute as much as you like... but surely... with 11 people in the team... if your central defender is up on the wing putting in a cross to your forwards... surely there is someone in the team either tasked with, or intelligent enough to understand that....

Spuds have hardly broken a sweat...

Our passing is nowhere or sideways - or to the opposition.

There is zero midfield on our team... literally zero...

Kayoute tidies the ball at the back, plays it up field... Carroll (unsurprisingly) is just outside the centre circle in Spuds territory to head it back down to...

NO ONE...

out of the ten other players on his team... there's no one in or around the centre circle AT ALL.

So what strategy is that?

We're not playing a long - hit and hope game because Carroll is having to drop deep to get the ball i midfield.

we're not playing out from the back because we're hitting kinda half long balls up to none in particular or we're running around in small groups wondering what to do with the ball

and there you go... 10 men behind the ball... Spuds playing it around until they feel like giving it to Deli Alli who just whips it into the back of the net... 0-2

okay... so who do you bring on in the 2nd half? what changes - personnel and strategy do you make???

Well what do I know about football.

Good win in the end and I even got to see my boy on TV.

With 55 minutes gone Ayew pulled the score back to 2-1, finishing from close range after Michel Vorm had palmed out a fine hard low shot from Edimilson Fernandes. West Ham’s bulging away section erupted, and suddenly we had a cup tie. By now Ayew was running across the front line with manic intent. Bilic, funeral-suited, was up on his touchline pointing and barking. And on the hour mark it was Ayew for 2-2, the Ghanaian sliding in to finish smartly as West Ham worked a nice little passing square around Andy Carroll’s flick and Manuel Lanzini’s slid pass.

Wembley was in (semi-) uproar as suddenly West Ham were driving the game against a Spurs XI struggling to raise their levels, piqued to find an opponent defibrillated miraculously on the treatment table. On 69 minutes a brilliantly unexpected comeback was complete, Angelo Ogbonna losing Toby Alderweireld at a corner, leaping highest and bulleting the ball into the net. In the space of 15 minutes 2-0 had become 2-3, and Spurs had gone from romping, strolling bullies to a bewildered bunch of white shirts trudging back to kick off in front of a three-quarters silent Wembley.

Well I managed the first five minutes and then went and read a book as I saw a cricket score coming, against us. 

A great win, in that we beat spuds at 'home' and it was a strong spuds side, but it is just papering over the cracks. The problems are still there, we played poorly for much of the game from all the reports ive already read. A win on Saturday will probably keep Slave his job, but its not going to sort out the fundamental problems at our club. 

Just hope we get a home tie against Brisol citeh or Bournemouth or Leicester as we wont beat anyone else left in the competition. 
Chelsea, Arse, Manure, Man Citeh i can feel another game against Citeh coming on, 6-0 at theirs and 3-0 nil at ours last time out in the league cup, never mind we beat the Yids
