Re: West Ham V Bournemouth
Times are hard people, cannot see us having any points until after the international breaks which is going to cause pressure on and off the pitch. Cannot understand why we have not addressed the central midfield and left back problems with the money we have spent during the summer. We have a top class manager?,so I'm told, but he does not seem to know his best 11 which is a worrying situation.
It just seems to me that there is nothing wrong with West Ham that a new board, new players, new ground, new supporters, new manager, new coaches and new colours cannot fix. We are the club of the damned.

You know what Charlie, was thinking this myself. Sullivan, Gold and Brady must suffer karma for selling the Boleyn Ground ..... what if this is it?
I'm all for those three getting what they deserve, but not at the expense of the club and it's supporters ..........
Board out!!

Re: West Ham V Bournemouth
I don`t why you wanted us to bring in a Left back when we have two suitable players in Cresswell and Masukaku. And in some ways we also brought in two Central Midfielders in Wilshere and Sanchez as well.
What I will agree with you on though is Pellegrini not seemly knowing what his best 11 is at the moment. I know when he was at City he did have a slow start on both his two season`s at the club so maybe he`s a slow starter ... We can only live and hope that this is the case although he is complety changing the style of play so that in it`s self will take some time and the fact he likes to play with a high line something most of squad wont have played with in the past.
I think personally once the team has settled and got used to the high line and style of play we will be a strong team to play home and away ...Lets all remmber as well that Spurs struugled a little at the start under Pocettino now look at them now. TGood things take time and we need to give the players and Pellegrini time before we start getting on their backs and causing a bad atmasphere again around the club.

Just my opinion Aaron on the full backs but I have not come across many who claim that Masuaku is a decent left back.
Cresswell seemed to be a decent fullback however in last year has let himself down.

Re: West Ham V Bournemouth
I'm with Charlie on that Masaku is decent going forward and has a great turnof speed but is very light defensively. Cresswell is a far better defender, and has in the past been fairly decent going forward on the left. As we now have Anderson on the left as ab attacking outlet we need to sort the defence out. I would revamp the whole thing, if as it seems Pelligrini is going to play four at the back, bring Fredericks back in on the right, Cresswell on the left and Diop and Rice in the centre. I'd also stick Sanchez in as the defensive midfielder, as it stands we are shite at the back so drasticmeasures needed.
Going forward, Wilshere in the centre of an attacking midfield with Obiang alongside Sanchez. Yarmalenko rightside attack Anderson left and Arnie through the middle.
But what do I know

Masuaku is not, never has been and never will be a left back.
I see him as a wing back if we play 3 at the back or as back up to Anderson.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: West Ham V Bournemouth
I think they are both decent players but if I did have to choose one it would be Cresswell as already been mentioned he is overall a better player when it comes to tracking back and defending etc.
I think if Pellegrini is going to contiune with playing a High line he does need to play Balbuena alongside Diop as you want your centre backs to be quite quick something Ogbonna isn`t.
It seems going by reports that we may see Holland at some point as well as it seem`s Pellegrini is impressed with Holland and wants him in the 1st team.
