Hmm... diangana replaces Snodgrass... I mean... you could pick any one form half a dozen if you were looking to trim some deadwood...

as you know, I'd have gotten rid of Noble... but you could just as easily have taken off Arnie, Anderson, Antonio, Snoddy, etc, etc...

perhaps if we ever get our foot on the ball or get out of our own half then our 3 up top formation might pay dividends...

somehow Fabianski keeps that out as Burnley slow waltz through our ranks yet again...

not sure what the possession stats would be for this first 5 minutes... but I'd be surprised if we were at 1%

truth in reporting... we actually had an attack...of sorts...

Burnley just carved us open again bt fortunately a sprawling Fabianski put off the attacker and he dragged his shot well wide of the open goal...

Carroll gets booked for heading the ball... and is now a marked man but fortunately the ref doesn't buy the Burnley player going down like a sack of spuds as Carroll puts out a hand...

Burnley pile on the pressure... mounting another attack...

We get the ball in the Burnley area but Anderson can't slot it through the Burnley players and it pings off the back of someone's foot...

we got nothing... certainly nothing in midfield... burley just stroll on through whenever they feel like it...

66 minutes... we actually managed a shot on goal... but it got saved.

apologies if this is boring or negative reading... but at least you're not having to watch this shit...

ooh... great link up down the wing between Antonio and Diangana who gets in behind the defense but has no one to pass to... the resulting corner is lofted way over the bar from Carroll's head...

Arnie comes off - not without reason - but Noble stays on... mystifyingly...

Carroll hits the bar with a close range header... but with a minute left of normal time... it's all done and dusted I'm afraid...

we couldn't get anything out of this game if Burnley went home...

absolutely zero to be happy about... totally piss-poor performance by a team who really had no clue why they bothered to get out of bed this morning...

Yes, another crap performance from the team looking to go into seventh place, against a team who have only managed to muster 12 points all season....

I went to type unbelievable there, but it aint is it.  Just a normal shit day at the office for West Ham and their long suffering supporters. 

Disappointing but not unheard of for this squad.

Why is it whenever this team has a chance to go into the top 7/8 we fupp it up everytime.!?!?
It would of been so nice going into 2019 7th but oh no we go into 2019 11th because we could fupping do the double over Burnley.
Brighton Next and that is now a must win game to make sure we stay in that top 10 with a few tough fixtures to come in January onwards.
