    here's how it goes...

1 minute of added time to go...

ball goes to Randolph... played to Cresswell at the back... and so Cresswell plays the ball straight to the one Baggies player in our half

    the final whistle has gone...

    we are defeated

a completely dismal performance by a completely dismal side

anyone thinking this new manager was the right choice can just sit and watch this game on an endless loop

    the wrong tactics

    the wrong formation

we conceded after 9 minutes... in a 95 minute game... played 20 minutes or so against ten men... made three subs at half time... and we were nowhere close to even getting a draw...

    fupp everyone involved in this

Let's see how Twitter reacted to the game... no prizes for guessing the gist of the comments...

"I expect so little of this club and our players, but I still keep getting disappointed. #WHUWBA #COYI #GSBOUT"

"10 morons and one beast (Antonio) feel incredibly bad for him, the only one who put a shift in #WHUWBA"

"Slaven Bilic was sacked as West Ham boss with the highest points per game tally of any other manager for the club
In his first game against his old team, he's knocked them out of the #FACup with Championship high flyers West Brom 👊"

"#whuwba another wasted afternoon. Thx for nothing you Millionaire cunts"

"They had 35 year old Chris Brunt and 38 year old Gareth Barry holding the midfield... that’s the level West Ham are playing at right now, can’t even pass around those two dinosaurs. Pathetic #GSBOUT #WHUWBA"

"This is fupping embarrassing, so much potencial put on this season and then we have this.. Gold And Sullivan please for the sake of the club and fans get out. We are done with all of your promises. #WHUWBA"

"Tell me what lanzini offers I’ll tell you fupp all useless twat who doesn’t care about the shirt and don’t get me started on Sebastian haller fupp him off absolutely abysmal we are going down if something doesn’t change #WHUWBA"

"10 man West Brom reserves beat pathetic West Ham 1-0 #WHUWBA"

"#WHUWBA What a crock of shit. £45m for Haller? The guy's second touch is to fall over! No movement. No passion. No desire. Ajeti? Shit too. Wilshere and Yarmalenko? Injured again. Pellegrini is a genius isn't he! Good luck Moyes taking over with that lot!"

"It will never end it will never stop until they go ! This is nothing new it’s been going on for 4 years now !! They gotta go !! We have the worse squad the worse manager an with out a doubt the worse BOARD in the whole world we a DEAD #WHUWBA #GSBOUT @BBCMOTD"

"Well done to West Brom totally deserved it .we was absolutely shite .and west Brom looked solid 👏👏👏👏#WHUFC #WHUWBA #wba"

"#WHUFC #WHUWBA very mixed emotions. Change needs to happen and #SlavenBilic has proved here that our owners should not have sacked him and that they create impossible operating conditions for ANY manager. Everybody thrives away from them.
    #FACup @WestHamWaycouk @ExWHUemployee"

"Can’t believe how bad that was. #WHUWBA"

"Unless my eyes are deceiving me, West Ham appear to have been turned over by a West Brom side playing Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt in midfield #WHUWBA"

"I'm just going to laugh as that's all I can do! #WHUWBA"

    From the Evening Standard:

"That's it! West Ham crash out of the FA Cup."

    From the BBC:

"A dismal performance saw West Ham crash out of the FA Cup with a feeble home defeat at the hands of West Brom."

    From the Guardian:

"Slaven BIlic masterminds victory over the club who sacked him as West Brom take their place in the next round."

    From the Guardian:

"David Sullivan and David Gold cannot ignore the evidence piling up before their eyes. West Ham are an utter mess and the clock is ticking. The transfer window shuts on Friday and David Moyes, who wore a rather haunted look at the end of this game, needs signings. West Ham’s manager needs a right-back, a midfielder and a striker. He needs his bosses to reach into their pockets or face the likelihood of relegation from the Premier League."

"West Bromwich Albion barely had to break stride to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup at West Ham’s expense, even though they lost Semi Ajayi to a red card in the closing stages. Conor Townsend scored the only goal to ensure that Slaven Bilic emerged victorious on his return to this strange and unhappy ground, where the disgruntled locals did not witness a shot on target from Moyes’s side until the 89th minute."

"West Ham were atrocious, barely able to string two passes together, and they cracked when Austin found space on the edge of the area. Carlos Sánchez’s tackle hit Issa Diop and when the ball ran to Townsend, the West Brom left-back had time to take a touch, set himself and ping a rising drive past Randolph."

"West Ham were an abject rabble, even though Moyes had picked a fairly strong side, and their malaise was summed up by Fabián Balbuena’s dismal distribution from the back. The centre-half was appalling, so much so that there were ironic cheers when he finally completed a couple of simple passes."

"Balbuena was merely the worst of a bad bunch, though. Sánchez lived down to expectations in midfield, Pablo Zabaleta’s lack of pace was exposed at right-back, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals offered nothing in the creative department and there was no understanding between Sébastien Haller and Albian Ajeti up front. The half passed by without Jonathan Bond, West Brom’s goalkeeper, making a save and Moyes reacted during the interval, replacing Balbuena, Sánchez and Fornals with Angelo Ogbonna, Mark Noble and Michail Antonio."

Read the whole sorry story here"

How the BBC summa it all up:

After West Ham were booed off at the break, Moyes made a triple half-time substitution, bringing on Michail Antonio, Angelo Ogbonna and Mark Noble.

Antonio at least gave the West Brom defence something to worry about with his runs down either flank, but their best chance of an equaliser came and went when Noble blazed over in the final moments.

Defeat means the Hammers have only a battle for survival at the bottom of the Premier League to focus on, and this was not a performance that will give their fans any optimism that they can beat the drop.

    Even the offish can't hide:

West Ham United's 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup campaign ground to a halt in the fourth round against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Conor Townsend's early strike proved enough to settle a tie ultimately short on quality.

Moyes' side, however, struggled for fluency in the opening stages

Misplaced passing put a stop to several promising moves

A difficult first-half performance saw Moyes make all three of his available substitutions at the interval, introducing Angelo Ogbonna, Mark Noble and Michail Antonio to the action.

To be honest I`m very worried about us getting relegated.I really feel that if we go down we won`t bounce straight back up but end up doing a Leeds/Portsmouth and slide down the leagues before it get`s better for us especially under our current owners.
