Hopefully Moyes sticks with this team for the foreseeable future as It worked really well yesterday especially the way the front 3 of Haller,Antonio and Bowen all linked up together.
Ngakia is looking like he`s going to be a very good player for us - Nice to see another younsgter making his mark on the 1st team.

Yep, we need this team to keep fit and go for it.

Monkey, Soucek will be back in a couple of weeks, would seem like he's the one to replace Mark Noble.

    Onwards and upwards....... C~O~Y~I  WHUFC vs Southampton -- February 29th, 2020 - Page 4 1343512671 WHUFC vs Southampton -- February 29th, 2020 - Page 4 1343512671 WHUFC vs Southampton -- February 29th, 2020 - Page 4 1343512671 WHUFC vs Southampton -- February 29th, 2020 - Page 4 1343512671

Yup, I agree Soucek is the obvious (to all of us, to the management? who knows) replacement for Noble... but that's a good three games with the same tired old donkey in midfield...

I'll honestly be surprised if M*yes keeps with the same three up front attack - expect to hear the same tired old cliches about not getting carried away, need to be cautious, playing to our strengths (when we don' actually have any) but I'm happy to be pleasantly surprised.

Ngakia is a great find... I hope they keep faith with him and not try to 'help his development' by resting him - he's currently our best player.

Every game is a must-win till the end of the season so there can be no excuses for not playing our strongest team every game and go out with the intention to win every game, none of this 'cagey defense and hope to win on the counter'

    Hi Monkey,

Thanks, I did enjoy this game, the first in a long while.

3 up front did cause Southampton problems and I would like to think this is the way we should go.

Midfield was our problem and I would like to see Noble out.

I'm glad you went Chas, you deserve to see a decent performance and a good win for all of your dogged faith.

Agree with you on all the rest.

To be honest I think Ngakia will continue to start in the near future as Fredericks is out and I don`t think Zaba was the player he was last season etc for us and probabley has one eye on his retirement. For a player so young he just seems so carm and collective on the ball and nothing seems to faze him - Reminds of Rice when he first come on to the scene.
