West Ham are one of a number of clubs being linked with a move for Norweigan international Jonathan Parr. The
distinctly English-sounding Scandinavian is currently being touted
around a number of British clubs and West Ham - along with Swansea,
Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers - are amongst those said to have
expressed an interest in capturing the 22-year-old left back.
Talking to Norweigan TV channel TV2, Parr's agent Jim Solbakken
confirmed that he was keen to tie up a deal for his client this week.
"I have no comment, but I can confirm that I am in England right now to
negotiate a deal," he said.
Parr - who spent a brief spell on trial at Nottingham Forest in December
of last year - is considered by many to be the second best full-back in
Norway behind John Arne Risse, who signed for Fulham earlier today.
A quick, left-footed player, Parr is also reknowned for his crossing
ability. His current contract - with Aalesund of the Norweigan Premier
League - is due to expire later this year.
Anyone know anything about this chappie ?
