Striker John Carew could be added to the squad for the first time since his recent move to Upton Park.

Leeds United skipper Jonny Howson and winger Max Gradel are both available again after suspension.

Luciano Becchio (hamstring) and Billy Paynter (thigh) are not expected to return this weekend.

Been over to the Leeds site this morning for a chin wag and to put a couple of question . Heres some replies I got
The guy who has really hit his straps for us this season so far is
loanee Adam Clayton, but watch out for little Ramon Nunez up front too.
    The
game will be won or lost in midfield - if we're allowed ball retention
time in the middle of the park, then we've got match winners there.
However, all too often teams don't allow us that luxury, and overpower
us there. We're dodgy at the back, no hiding that, and a little bit
light up front without the w**k rate, skill and sheer bloody nuisance
    value of Becchio.

Your best player by a mile (and easily the canniest signing of the close season) is Nolan.

Still wondering if the financial house of cards at Upton Park is gonna tip over at some point - what's your view on that?

Fancy us to win on Sunday - don't know why really, just a hunch.

and thier prefered team line up

    Longergen

    Lees
    Kisnorbo
    O'Dea
    White

    Snodgrass
    Howson
    Clayton
    Gradel

    McCormack
    Keogh

I like that too Rigger, with Nunez offering fresh legs for Gradel or Howson.

    Of
course, he may start with Brown and forfeit Keogh, with a 4-5-1 and
then move to 4-4-2 if needed...hopefully he'll go for it from the start.

so now Sam 'Geezer' Allardyce has done his homework West Ham V Dirty Lids Icon_biggrin

A clean sheet and a couple of goals off the trees arse will do me fine, need to keep winning and keeping the goals against down. Greens 200th games tomorrow, cant be many West Ham keepers played more than that. Hope Tomka is fit as he and Reid seem to be playing well together.

Nice to see a Lid on here again, used to be a good bunch in the planet days that were often on our little piece of e-space.

But lets do em anyway!!!! WH Flag

I have a bad feeling about tomorrow. We lack the creativity to break teams down at home. Away from home the onus is on the home team to attack so we can exploit the spaces they leave - as was proven at Doncaster & Watford

Leeds will be an entirely different proposition. Doncaster & Watford are two of the favourites for relegation

The next two games will see us really tested

Today will be a good test for us. Would like to see us will well say 2-Nil plus however if we lose then we need to bring in at least a couple of new faces otherwise I cannot see us doing well and going up.
Will be on my way to the ground soon and won't be happy if we don't win.

Team news-wise, West Ham could give debuts to John Carew and George
McCartney after both successfully came through a behind-closed-doors
friendly against Colchester United last Wednesday afternoon. However,
manager Sam Allardyce will be without Gary O'Neil (ankle).

Seems like Tomkins is still suffering and Illunga will be replaced by Linda

Seems I was wrong , the team is unchanged from the tonking squad at Watford West Ham V Dirty Lids 808317 ,

lets hope for something similar today

I thought for the 1st 15 min we were all over them but then they started getting into to the game and started cuasing us problems with the 8 or so corners they had , we just did,nt seem to handle them too well . Aint got any complaints , Cole done well to get his foot around to get our one and only goal , so far . The ref as usual is a bit of a tosser , some dodgy decisions and Cole should have got a penalty plus what the fcuk was that last throw in the lids got West Ham V Dirty Lids 4100498673. We need to take control of the game again in the 2nd and get at least one more , 1-0 is a West Ham V Dirty Lids 1599404912

Agree with you there 3W , dont like Gradel one little bit , always the same with these short arsed fuckers , they fall over at every chance because thats the only way they win a ball . Bit of a poxy finish , still think we should of won considering the penalty we should of had , a points better than none . Very entertaining game , just a shame we did,nt get all 3 pints for the home fans

Ill take Gradel, he gave us no end of problems. Very poor by us, gave the ball away too often, Noble running round trying to get himself booked, Nolan invisible, Ilunga finguck shit. We should have been running the clock down before they got their 2nd and been professional and taken the 3 points rather than risking letting them have another chance.

Pissed of with the fact that they did,nt run the game down as Jnr said , how difficult is it to get the ball up thier end and hold it there to tick away the mins , no doubt BFS will be giving them a bollicking as we speak or they will be in for it tomorrow at Chadwell Heath before some much needed training . Its no use getting max points on the road and finguck up in front of the home fans , sort it out WH FFS . It will be interesting to find out what those that were at the game today have to say , if they come back home sober that is West Ham V Dirty Lids 1127496493

Positives... Carew looked sharp when he came on, also looked like he pick up a groin strain,
Poohbear,,, attacked well, covered well and put a shift in
Tomka.. this lad grows and grows, could have had 2 goals and a pen
obrien done well apart from having to put up with drogba junior and his diving antics.

If we can get Cole fit (only looks 50% to me) he can grab a bag full this season
