I doubt even in our wildest imagination a change to a moment in time or the introduction of one player / manager would turn us into a club that regularly competes in the Champions League. But, my answer would be Shake Mansour (the bloke that bought ManCity), if he bought us from Terry Brown instead of the bloody Icelanders we would be playing in the Champions League tonight against AC Milan and Alan Pardew wouldn't have had to learn geordie and Carlos Tevez would be happy to warm up.

Roeder getting his brain tumour two years too late,
which subsequently led to our relegation, disbanding of a very promising team and the loss of many talented players.

Had one for a long time geeze
Using my imagination then................Brian Clough, he could have made this club into real winners and played decent football to boot. Look what he did at Derby Co and Forest.

For Terry Brown to have given John Lyall the funds he asked for, for the 1 or 2 players needed to enable us to mount a serious title challenge in 1986/87
Secondly for the same Two-bob tosser to have NOT sacked John Lyall when he did
PS I know that was TWO things !
