This is interesting. I disliked Pulis's Stoke with a vengeance, they were thuggish and horribly predictable, and as he was there so long you would have to say they were a reflection of what their manager intended. Since moving to Palace he has largely had to play to play a hand dealt by someone else as far as players go, but has had remarkable success, much to my surprise. Could be that he has changed his philosophy, could be Palace were a much better outfit than anyone thought, could just be that every dog has his day. Anyway, he has definitely secured his position at Palace now, so it's going to be interesting to see how they play next season. No doubt the fans are over the moon for now about staying up, but I wonder if they will be so happy if Palace start to turn into Stoke Mark 2?
Question for HH66 - would he rather have had Pulis than BFS?
