Summer silly season 2016

We are obviously going to have a few leavers as Super Slav takes (hopefully) to greater things, heard from a Baggies fan mate of mine  that the rumours on their sites are that they are after Sakho and Valencia as a new  striking partnership under that nasty Pulis chappie.

They can have Valenca. Been about as useful as a chocolate teapot since the £21m and Chelsea rumour.

I like Sakho's work rate and movement, he was unlucky with injuries and it seems to be following him for the two seasons now/ But when fit he does score when he wants!

Depends how it is viewed; if we play with one central attacking player up top, then we need 3 strikers of similar ability. Does Carroll and Sakho, with their injury records count as one? If so we need two more and that means more wage, more outlay.  I think they'll look at who they can get in before looking to get rid of either Sackrace or Carroll. Of the two, I'd say Sackrace as he has less invested and Carroll is, on his day, a very good alternative or plan B

I really hope we don`t get rid of Sakho should we bring in another striker this summer , I believe when fit he is by far our best striker and I feel sorry for Valencia as he works hard etc but he just doesn't seem to be able to find the back of the net on a regular thing.

Tbh even if the club brought in a striker can`t see the club getting rid of one off Valencia , Sakho or Carroll as we only have 3 strikers in the squad anyway and we need at least 4 maybe 5 considering we are in Europe this year.

Sahko has thrown a strop - probably result of news of a new striker coming in (which is a stupid way to deal with it) and/or on the back of his falling out with Bilic over being subbed or something last season... and if the talk of him beating his g/f are true then good riddance.
He's a decent striker but if he's a toys throwing baby then who needs that.


Valencia is apparently surplus to requirements... which is a shame as he looked keen and seemed decent enough... but he's suffering from a lack of goals. Quite why Swansea would want him or he'd want to go thee is a mystery to me - and not just cos i used to live in Cardiff. If he does then he'll probably score a shedload against us and just have been looking for an uptick in form... but who knows... how long do you wait for a player on the down to pick up or pack off?
$11m being touted but then so has $15m... not that it matters if his price tag is $115m if no one actually pony's up.

Caroll... no talk at all... so probably gonna hang in there. Hopefully he's fit now and remains so. When he does he's worth them money - when he's injured, not so much.

However, to add to all the excitement upfront... we're linked with some bloke from europe who's pretty good - Thomas Rodriguez? which will be sweet if we hold onto Payet... but not gonna happen if we don't.

Backing all that up there's rumors of $15m for Reece Oxford from a couple places and we've already lost Tomo to Palarse.
