Lets hope super Slav sorts last weeks mess out and we run out winners 3-0 to make our arrival in our new home a fitting one.

We still have the last three from the Euros missing plus Cresswell, Lanzini, Tore.  I'd like to see Fletcher given a run alongside Carroll so we can see if he is as good as it says on tbe tin.

However, our defence is weak, made worse by playing players out of position. Byramis a RBplay him there, Antonio is a winger/attacking midfielder play him there. Give Page a chance at LB and play Burke or Oxford at CB, I can see another banana skin coiming up

Glad Randolph is getting a game.

Worried about young Reece alongside the leadership skills of Reid 3scared

Looks like you were spot on... any idea what this week's lottery numbers might be?

I wish my friend I wish, good result and by all accounts the atmosphere was excellent. However my mate who I sat next to for many years when I had my season ticket said his new seats are shite and the players looked like ants. He said his daughter may not go very often so I should get a chance to get down to a few games this  season.
Where are the forum peeps going to meet as the supporters club is obviously not practical?

I went last Thursday and sat quite close to the front so can't really say but most people I chatted to on the way back to the station seemed happy with their view even from high up. I guess if you are on the halfway line well back it will be a long way to the pitch. Hopefully we'll have some good football for your mate to cheer this season

First match at the new stadium for me. Sat is season ticket seat with ian and sue. Had previously scouted out the stadium and seats at the anniversary games. Happy with view and price of seats. Slight concerns over the pleb sitting next to me and the lack of standing and signing. Ian is very loud and did try.

Game itself seemed like midway between a friendly and competitive game. We won that very comfortably without needing anything like second gear.

Without lanzini and payet we lack some creativity although fegouli looks a good purchase. Hopeful on tore too...

Last train home is 11:04 for me from London Bridge. This is a stress and worry for night games. Other then that, comfortable start to life in our new stadium...
