Klinsmann lined up for Arry,s job

Jurgen Klinsmann wants to succeed Harry Redknapp at Tottenham.

Once the FA make their ­expected move for current boss Redknapp, Spurs will search for a summer replacement.

And Klinsmann has emerged as a target. The 47-year-old German is ­currently head coach of the United States team.

Klinsmann became an iconic figure at Spurs in his two spells as a player.

He stayed for one full season in 1994-95 when Tottenham reached the FA Cup semi-finals and then returned for a brief loan spell in 1998 when he helped the club steer of relegation.

He then worked with LA Galaxy in an executive role and then managed Bayern Munich before taking over as the coach of the US team last year.

He would be a popular choice among the fans and help to soften the blow of the loss of Redknapp.

Another potential target is Guus Hiddink.

He led Chelsea to FA Cup success in 2009 after the took over in a caretaker ­capacity from Luis Felipe Scolari.

So they are not going for Glenn Roeder then? Just thought , he took over from the twictcher at West Ham and took us to 7th place in the prem..................................and then his true ability shone through
