" To all you Hammer fans and knew Matt I want to let you know that Matt passed away at 11:45pm on May 17th 2012. I understand they won some kind of game today Matt is cheering and proud. He was a wonderful guy who supported West Ham since he was 7 (and not even a from London, Cornwall) Being a yank I never understood why he was so into a team that always almost did it. Very sad news. He always made some decent contributions on the Hammers & life in general. He wasn't that old, was he?

The sad thing about the forums is when you don't hear from someone for a while you are never entirely sure why.
