I watched the second half of the GB v Brazil womens football this evening , and ... er ...um.. I'm actually starting to enjoy it. And I only laughed once, when one of the GB girls heade five yards over the cross bar from five yards out, unmarked. I might even watch some more.......

Re: Shameful confession
Do you know, I watched it and thought exactly the same thing. I started out of fascination but after a while i realised ti was actually an entertaining match. More so than watching the mens GB football team. It's a different style of football, more of a passing game and less physical contact but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I found myself wondering what level either of those teams would be able to give a mens team a match; Division 2? Conference? Hard to tell but I came to the conclusion some of the passing was better than my son's level which is Hellenic League.

add me to the list
enjoyed the game last night, also the girls were really getting stuck in at times, they wanted that win, it was good to see the attitude
