If You're Free at 8.30pm Tonight Join Me & Tony Carr on LBC 97.3
From 8.30 to 9pm tonight I'll be talking about the new football season and what our footballers can learn from the way Team GB athletes conducted themselves. Michael Owen reckons football has lost touch with reality and fears the game will not be able to change its culture and follow the example set by the London Olympics. Is he right? Joey Barton (for it is he) said much the same thing. Owen also says he wouldn't take his family to a football match.
One of my guests will be West Ham Academy Director Tony Carr. So do tune into LBC 97.3 from 8.30 tonight. If you're outside London we're on DAB in much of the country, Channel 0112 on Sky, 973 on Virgin.
PS If you can't listen live, or haven't seen this in time, we'll put up a free podcast later in the evening.
