Sorry but, one point above the relegation zone and we havnt played any of the "top teams" is simply not good enough and the direct result of Alladyce and his antiquated style of management, the way he plays and for him and the owners putting all the eggs in the flawed Andy Carroll basket.
We were beaten yesterday by a goal from an on loan striker who chose to play for Martinez and not Fat Sam and who could blame him

Had the game ended on 83 minutes yesterday, we'd be in the top 6. Fine lines. Put your moaning on hold!

Lol Dan, nice thought but not acceptable in the FA rule book. Smile

The injuries are not Allerdyce's fault, but his insistence at ignoring the injuries and playing on regardless with his preferred system, is either a bit silly, bad management or just plain arrogant.

If he knew exactly when Carroll et al were returning, I accept having to improvise for a couple of games. This isn't the case now, so by a further 3 games in, shouldn't a manager have "managed" to get the best out of the players at his disposal?

What worries me, is that our good start last season carried us a fair way at the end, but we're losing that at the moment.  So it's way past time for BFS to invent a plan B and put it into practice. It may or may not improve results, but for his own sake, he needs to be seen to be doing something.

Well HH66, current form would seem to support your viewpoint, but the bottom line for the owners and BFS is that 17th or above will do nicely for WHUFC even if we stay there all season.
We have been awfully close to the financial cliff edge, and I would rather we crawled away from it than tried to dance our way out of trouble. I don't see any fairy godmothers on the horizon willing to wave a magic wand over the accounts and bank balance, and frankly I don't want "my" club to be owned by some US shyster or a bunch of arabs even if they appointed Jesus H. Christ as manager.
Your country had years of overspending, mis-management and hubris and sadly is now paying for it. Ditto West Ham United FC.
