Re: Hull V West Ham United FC
Going to be a tough game following their 3-2 win over Newcastle last weekend but I think we should be ok today and win by couple of goals, BFS has to start with RVT upfront today ahead of Maiga !
I would go for 4-5-1/4-3-3
Jaaskelainen,Demel,Collins,Reid,Rat,Morrison,Noble,Diame,Nolan,Jarvis,RVT
SUBS:Adrian,Tomkins,Downing,Maiga,Collison,E.Lee,Taylor
I 'am going to say 3-1 West Ham with Nolan,Morrison and RVT

Re: Hull V West Ham United FC
Why does Sam seem intent on starting Maiga ahead of RVT !?!?!?
Good to see Downing back and looks like we will see Joe Cole back next week along with maybe Carlton Cole if he does sign in the next few days as BFS suggests he will , It`s looking good again !

61: Rat is bemused as Elmohamady goes to ground about a yard from the assistant, who gives nothing. The referee, 30 yards away, gives Hull a free-kick..
Gonna be one of them days then

Second half so much better than the first, which proves that Allerdyce put out the wrong team to start.

Re: Hull V West Ham United FC
horrible game... had boring 0-0 all over it except for atrocious refereeing.
the only decision he got right all game was booking Nolan
we were shit... marginally less than shit in the 2nd half.
we were robbed of a stone cold penalty in the 2nd half but that would only have confirmed the stalemate nature of the game.
it's even more galling that with two shitty teams like this, Hull are now on the up and up and we're going to need to do some real stand out work to avoid being in the relegation spots by halloween...
ugh... sport is killing me this season...

Exciting this race to the bottom.
Just seen we are 5th from bottom.
Couple of weeks now before being in bottom three.
Can't wait.

Re: Hull V West Ham United FC
I was out of the door at 6.45am and arrived back home at 10.45pm. My 16-hour day was totally ruined by the actions of one man - Kevin Friend. You are unlikely to see a more inept, amateur display of refereeing - it was one of the worst I've ever seen, including that of Paul Danson at home against Sheffield Wednesday in January 1995. He got huge decisions wrong and was totally inconsistent. He booked Nolan for a bad tackle but equally bad and late challenges were meted out on Morrison without further punishment than a free-kick. The two penalty calls were outrageously bad.
Bar a couple of decent chances for Hull, we dominated the game but didn't look like scoring until Vaz Te and Downing came on. Maiga must never start again, but he probably will. It just isn't working. No surprise to see the usual doom and gloom merchants come out of the woodwork on here, but I refuse to be overly concerned just now.
