I think you will find the UKIP fellow came up with the idea instead of sending the millions in foreign aid to countries that just abuse it , keep the dosh and help the people in Britain first , what has CaMoron came up with so far ?

Re: Red Ed Sorting out the floods
It's a good idea but it's an idea that can't be done with the wave of a wand. I think he knows that so therefore it's just good soundbites for the newspapers.
In my opinion the only politicians who should be anywhere near the crisis areas are those who can have an immediate effect. All the others, who are only there to court votes, should keep their distance.

Re: Red Ed Sorting out the floods
Wow - some weird shit going on there!
I wrote a reply & posted it but it wasn't there. So I wrote it again & then there was 2 but it wouldn't let me delete one. Then they both disappeared again!
Anyway my post (for what it's worth) was.
It probably is a good idea in theory but in reality you can't wave a magic wand & release money just like that, so to my mind it is nothing more than a media soundbite.
Personally I think the only politicians who should be anywhere near the flood areas are those who can make an immediate difference to help & provide aid. It shouldn't be used as an opportunity to score political points.

Re: Red Ed Sorting out the floods
It would be a lot easier to sort these problems out if it was,nt for the fact that the EU control 70% of British laws . then you could wave your hand and tell the crooks in Brussels to shove their treaties where the sun dont shine , all possible . One thing they could do is to stop the payment £80 billion for Turkey ( who aint even in the EU ) to renew the sewage system . Anyone and everyone who has something to do with running our country are just puppets for the EU and want their EU pension for their later days . Time for a proper clean out .
The forum does play up now and again but its out of my hands , its the Forum of Forums tweaking things in the program .
