Re: Moyes Sacked
Such a shame as he was doing a great job
Much better off being the manager that replaces the manager that replaces Fergie.

Re: Moyes Sacked
thought I read somewhere that cos they're shipping him out now there's a clause in his contract that if he didn't get them champs league footie then he only gets a one year pay out not the entire contract.
I so hope they miss out of all euro football this time round... see how many players they can attract with no euro footie as a lure...
with their debts it could be game over...

Re: Moyes Sacked
I think the club, its players, its fans and its owners are long overdue for a spell in the "wilderness" that the rest of us inhabit - i.e. the real world. Moyes just carried the can for taking them there, and now gets branded as a failure. If their next manager also demonstrates that they have no God-given right to be at the top of the tree I will be more than happy, and perhaps the level of media hype about the club might drop a little too, which would be a bonus.

I make you right mate, funny how the sacking of Moyes was taken on the New York stock exchange, funny how money across the pond can now decide who is in charge of the team, let this be a lesson to any English football club, do not get involved in the American trading market, 1st to 7th in one season

Just a thought , But would anyone actually want Moyes to come in and replace Big Sam ? I wouldn't mind him taking over us to be honest .. He did a brilliant Job at Everton on a small budget

Same thought occurred to me. I wonder if the Daves have put out a few discreet feelers, just in case season ticket sales for next season look really grim. Ironically if he hadn't "underachieved" for the Glazers he would have been out of our price range, but I was impressed with what he did at Everton.

It really wouldn't Surprise me if we do go for Moyes , as let`s be honest who would people rather we had in charge when move into the Olympic Stadium Sam Allardyce or David Moyes , I would want Moyes as our Manager !
And we would probably attract better player`s with Moyes in charge then we would and are attracting under Big Sam
