Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
struggling to get any kind of signal on the game today... even my phone keeps crapping out
been pretty lackluster so far.... Vaz Te had a shock blocked by the keeper from 3 yards and it trickled across the goal to go just wide...
Were playing Cole up front which means we have no real intention or desire to win the game.
Keeping having to press 'reload' - interesting that there's never buffering or signal issues on the commercials...
also interesting that Crystal Palace are winning away from home at Newcastle...

having said all of that... Noble apparently had scored and we're one goal to the good.

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
barely getting to see any of this...
last minute of the first half... Southampton get a free kick...
bounces around the area.... Schneidelin kicks it into the goal...
so all our "good" work counts for naught as it looks like we've given them hope and a way back in
1-1

MM I have this one in Sweden and its ok [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
They had pretty much 70% of the first half , we did start to get back in it and scored , gonna have to do better in the second as things are back to square one . COYFI

I might have to try your sausage (pooh... errr missus)
but I pay a lot for total football coverage... I'm just stuck in a hotel which has the worst wifi network in the world.... so all my great expanse counts for nothing...

Apparently S'oton are all over West Ham according to Chris Kamara - anyone watching it care to give their opinion?

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
Started of bright with the announcement of Alex Song but it been down hill from their onwards ! , Same old West ham playing shit yet again and Tbh I don't think we deserve to take the lead anyway as Southampton have been by far the better team and deserve to be winning today ...
Bet Song is regretting joining us now

My only consolation as we make our way towards a third successive home defeat in a game we should really have won is it's one game closer to getting rid of big Sam

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
watched some of it until I gave up on the terrible wifi connection here...
but West Ham and Sam gave up before I did...
comms said at the state of the 2nd half that Soton would be out of sight if they could just get their shooting boots on.
We started the game with Carlton Cole
We made a double substitution and left Carlton Cole on the pitch
When I started listening to the game and comms announced "you have to go back 12 seasons for the last time Soton won at this ground" I knew the writing was on the wall.
It's a shame we're so fupping predictable...
we won this fixture 3-1 last time out and 4-1 the time before that.
we're rapidly turning into the Man Utd of London... and that's not a good thing.

Not sure I understand your last point but either way it's pretty tedious being a West Ham fan at the moment.westhamonkey wrote:...we're rapidly turning into the Man Utd of London... and that's not a good thing.

they're (Man Utd) a team going nowhere who can't seem to beat teams they should easily turn over...
obviously we're nothing like Man Utd because they're a world famous club brand with millions of supporters around the world, a team full of established international players from many countries and have just splashed around eighty million quid on just two new players...
it was meant as a joke and it's painful having to explain it... but there ya go...

we're all one day closer to being dead... but it doesn't mean it's gonna happen any time soon.

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
West Ham
40% possession, 2 corners, 2 shots on goal, 1 on target
Southampton
60 % Possession, 8 corners, 11 sots on goal, 8 on target
Every minute Allardyce remains at our club, is a minute too long, The clueless arrogant dinosaur has to go now !!!

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
From the first minute to the last we were outplayed, out thought and out worked. Southampton fully deserved all 3 points
Only Kouyate can hold his head up after that performance. It really was shocking
Kouman got his tactics and intensity spot on. BFS had the opposite effect. I really believe that it doesn't matter how good a squad we have that BFS will not know how to get the best out of them
When Valencia, Jarvis & Sakho are fully fit will he still start The Tree and RVT? Who will drop out of central midfield for Alex Song? It certainly won't be Noble. He is one of BFS's favourites. So who will it be?
On paper this is a decent squad that should be more than capable of holding its own in the Premier League but with this manager in charge it will not pan out like that

I believe with the squad we now have and if they were all fit we could easily get into the Europa league places if we had someone like Moyes in charge

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
So the only performance is against a puss poor palace side,
I normally edge on the side of stability and working on things but enough is enough, he has to go.
Who to get in is a big problem as it is now as any manager now has nothing to play with regards the transfer window.
Long winter ahead peeps

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
knowing our luck the fat one will do all he can to ship out a few bodies before the window closes to bring in some sub standard over the hill ex-Bolton defender after todays performance.
Typical West Ham today, confidence up a little bit after the Palace win.....knocked down a bit midweek but thinking there were quite a few changes......back down to no confidence today.

Re: West Ham United FC V Southampton
Did not want to write any comments yesterday due to being in a bad state of mind.
Still quite shocked by our performance in which we looked bad right from the kick off.
Can't see any change from last year, if anything that was some of the worst play I have seen in years from a West Ham team.
That performance is worrying and if not checked then we will soon be bottom.
Some players were half asleep and others could not care less.
I like my boys have paid for season tickets. Queue up at the Blackwall tunnel. Watch a non competitive game. Queue up at the Blackwall tunnel going home and then wonder why I bother to go if it makes me angry.
I just wonder why I go?
Something needs to change. Feb up with all the crap that comes out of SAM month, always some excuse.
The Dave's need to wise up and see the back of him.
