Bizarre goal video goes viral
Goal celebrations are somewhat of a phenomenon in football but sometimes they go wrong. Mozambique team Ferroviario Maputo learnt this the hard way in the Gauteng Future Champions tournament.
Ferroviario scored a beautiful goal against Zambian club, K-Stars, and then embarked on a lengthy goal celebration. The referee allowed the match to restart before they could get back into position.
The price for their lengthy celebration was rather painful for the youngsters but hilarious for the neutrals as K-Stars kicked the ball from the centre circle to the back of the gaping net.
The goal, which has since gone viral on YouTube, was given and the match ended in draw.
