So Carroll is out for about 3 months before the season has even stated... after playing one game against soft opposition...

Winston Reid is out for the same amount of time - which sucks... but regarding Carroll... can we just get rid of him once and for all?

no disrespect to the player/person... but this farce just has to end.

Both have become money sucking leeches. 

I was hoping both would leave this summer. 

Carroll's contract should be cancelled as he's failing to fulfil his part by being a player.

Like to see him gone.

I'd like to hear your justification for that... is there something I'm missing?

I may get a lot stick for saying this but why don`t the club just do what they did with Ljungberg and pay him off. Yeah it will cost us to start with but in the long term it will save as wasting money on his wages that could be spent better on someone else.

Keep Reid tho as when fit is easly one of our better defenders.

A fit AC is an awesome player, also extremely hard to find and as rare as hens teeth! The time has sadly come IMOto cut our losses, the only thing that might be worth doing is get him fit, park him somewhere safe and sell him for anything we can get in January. If no one wants him bin him and NOT pay offhis contract, as he has had several million from the club already fir doing Jack. 

Reid has been at times over the last few years our outstanding defender, time and injuries have caught up with him. He will only be 5th choice CB now after the two new guys, Angelo and Declan, thats not even thinking about Oxford! 
Get him fit and get rid.
