Anderson loops a ball into the box.. Carroll falls over backwards trying to get it... Snoddy princes on the lose ball but when trying to cut inside, Carroll gets up and nicks the ball and hoofs it over the bar...

Pretty much sums up Carroll's contribution to the game (this one and football in general)

while I'm being snarky... Brum get in behind us again and Adrian gets down swiftly to smother the near post shot but gets injured for his trouble...

5 minutes or so to hang onto what is looking to be a more and more slender lead and a more and more vital goal by Arnautovic...

Carroll gets on a long ball... trades passes with Anderson then runs in on the keeper but overstretches and fluffs the whole thing...

Anderson is starting to put in a bit of a shift... should do that more regularly sunshine...

Was at the game. I thought we were alright but I thought we let Birmingham back into the game abit at stages and just how Carroll missed that chance with the clear open goal I do not know... If he hadn`t had scored that goal after he would of been in for some shit.
Thought Nasri looked very good and can only get better as he plays more games. Diaganna and Silva were both good aswell as was Rice.

couldn't agree more... it's very heartening to see the youngsters both getting games and doing well when they do.

Yeah,To be honest Towards the end I thought Diaganna and Silva started to link up quite well. Rice just gets better everytime he plays. The future is bright at the moment. Maybe the fact that Pellegrini has made the U21`s train next to the first team has helped the young players settle into the 1st team/squad.
