Dull n overcast but not to bad in Naarfolkshire, lots more gardening today, half a skip filled yesterday, hopefully finish it orf today. Ache like an achey thing at the moment hey ho onward and upwards!

Off to the hospital at 1pm for my ECG Fitness test.

9 minutes on a treadmill with speed and inclination increasing every 3 minutes whilst wired up to an ECG. Sounds like it's gonna be fun!!!

How did the treadmill go Bus dude? hate those bloody things, must be even worse if you are all wired up.

Very difficult to get a rhythm and find a comfortable stride on a treadmill though.

Test is 9 minutes long and is in 3 phases.

First 3 minutes is at 1.4 mph at a 10% incline. Next 3 minutes at 2.5 mph at 12% incline then the last 3 minutes at 3.4 mph at 15% incline. No breaks in between, the treadmill just speeds up and lifts. Blood pressure is taken about mid point in all three phases and ECG monitor going constantly.

Consultant said I did fine, although there were a couple of odd beats in the last minute. He said that he wasn't concerned by them.

Just a case of waiting to hear from DVLA now.
