Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
Got to say I was not to happy with our display today.
Defence seems ok and when we got the ball into their area we caused problems however our midfield was terrible.
Collinson standing around like a spare at a party and Noble doing his best to bugger thing up. I don’t understand why we play Nolan up front with Cole. Why not have two forward and put Nolan into centre midfield with Parker. Taylor on the left and Faubert on the right.
You can forget about this present lot going up. We need some new players at this club.

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
dont really know what to say about colly n noble , colly was non existant, noble was in headless chicken mode
we do need a balance there and i dont think Sam quite know the best yet, i would have the mexican on the right , ditch Ilunga and bring in Linda
play parker behind nolan
green
obiren, reid( will come good) Tompka, Linda
..............Parker.............noble
...Barrera..............................taylor
................nolan
.........................Carew
allows us to go foward quick
............reid( will come good) Tompka,
O'brien..............................................Linda
...............................noble
...Barrera.........Parker.....................taylor
................nolan
.........................Carew
however get a nippy little sriker in and our formation can change , more ideas, keep the opposition back line under pressure... we dont have that

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
Thanks for the game, a good result for us and we'll take it. Look forward to the return match at Elland Road. I thought Parker was awesome, he's class. You walked through our midfield a bit too easy but apart from that we matched you and brought the game to you.
Good luck for the rest of the season

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
also thought the ref was shit, first half , 2 clear pens, lids defender wanted to take tomka's washing home , Cole had a clear pen. Parkers tackle in the box should have been a pen, the tackle on Parker in the first half was at the very least a yellow if not red. and thats not to mention the non game changing efforts the ref made a total hash of

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
There were several occasions where the ball had very clearly and obviously come off a Leeds player and he awarded the throw-in / corner to Leeds. Every time that little shit fell over he awarded a free kick to Leeds. A Leeds player ran into Carew, bounced off him and fell to the floor, he got the free kick!! Had a Leeds player wrenched off Parkers arm and beaten him to death with the soggy end I am sure it would have been the Leeds player who got the free kick and Parker the red card!!!

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
I've got to agree with you guy's, the ref was shit and one of the worst I have seen.
I hope they ar not all like him in this league.
I think he was putting our players off.

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
I think that ref was in the prem last season, not sure if he has been relegated with us or not. Sam a bit of a pop at him in his interview after he also said we didnt run the clock down.
It will be interesting to see who Sam puts out against Aldershot id like to see
Green
O'Brien Faye Reid McCartney
Faubert Noble Collison Barrera
Sears Cole
Subs : Boffin Tomkins Nolan Stanislas Piquionne

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
Good idea dude , rest Tomkins , give Linda a chance , I'm sure he can do better than Illunga has done the last few games Plus Berrera needs to show what he can do in midfield and there's no need to Play Noble , Parker and Nolan , they seem to be working against each other , Parker is leading over Nolan and not giving him a chance and Parker seems to be out the door soon anyway

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
Looks a fair side on paper, and should wipe the floor with the shots, make Geeze totally riht about our midfield, two many of the same sort of player. Collison needs to find his form pdq or he may be sitting about, espeically if barreara has a good game on Weds.

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
I cannot see Green playing. Boffin needs playing time. As does Stech. I would start Stanislas on one wing and Barrera on the other. Give Faubert a run at right back too. Faye, McCartney and Carew also need games to get match fit
Boffin/Stech
Faubert Faye Reid McCartney
Barrera Collison Noble Stanislas
Carew Sears
Subs: Stech/Boffin, Nouble, Hall, Moncur, Piquionne

If we MUST have a defender on the bench then put Tomkins there instead of Piquionne or Nouble

Well 1/16th of my predicted squad for tomorrow has come true. George Moncur has announced on Facebook that he is on the bench. Says he is "buzzing" about it ! Good lad

Re: West Ham V Dirty Lids
It appears that 7 subs are allowed in the Carling Cup so we can add Tomkins and a.n.other to my previous bench !
