Well both of them need to up their games massively. Collison is coming back from a year out. Noble has no real excuse other than he is not as good as he thinks he is

Fact is, if he was not home grown he would not have had such an easy ride from the fans so far

Definately, he is a liablity at the moment the way he dives in. In this league with the crap officials we get he will be off shortly. Thing is other than the silly named one, all the others appear to me to be attacking midfield players, no defensive anchor(?)man there at all. Unless BFS wants Nolan to do that job as well as score all the goals! cant see how he is going to fit all these guys in, unless he is ditching some in the next few hours?

Can see a hard time ahead for some of the academy boys, Stanislas, Sears, Collison and Noble could all be left behind. O'Niell may as well pick up his P45 now

Lansbury is a better version of Noble. He can tackle, pass and score goals. All things I hoped Noble would be doing by now. Sadly he has not moved on in the last 3-4 years

I think O'Neil will be good in this division once fit

So Lansbury gets the holding berth, with Nolan in the centre. Bentley is certainly going to make Talor/Foobear/Collison sweat on their places. Sears will become very much a fringe player, may not even last the night out!

If Baldock starts off on the right foot I wonder if Sam will stick with the 442 away from home, being 5' 7 I dont see Sam using
Baldock upfront on his own, as he is quite mobile and quick maybe he will be used as the 5th midfielder in the 451 with Cole
upfront and Nolan dropping into the midfield a bit more.

Lansbury is not a holding midfield player. He is a creative player. He played just behind the front two for the U21's the other night. Trouble is, so does Nolan !

Could we shoot ourselves in the foot ala West Ham by having to many good players in the same position? Nah, wouldn't happen not here

That's not nice Darran.....Noble can't help being ugly....

The more I read/hear about Henri Lansbury makes me think that it will be Noble's place that is seriously under threat. Maybe BFS has seen what we all have of Noble so far this seaon and come to the conclusion that he is not good enough

have to agree there.. Noble's progress has been static for a few years now, this may be the year he gets dropped.

Agree with you guy's about Noble. I would drop him.
