Fabrice Muamba
Collapsed on the pitch just before half time in the FA Cup tie between Spurs and Bolton at White Hart Lane. Attempt to resuscitate him were carried out by paramedics on the pitch. He left the pitch on a stretcher with paramedics still giving him CPR. He was taken to hospital. No further news at the moment
Our thoughts are with him and his family. Let's hope he pulls through

Re: Fabrice Muamba
The London Chest Hospital say that his condition is "stable". I have no doubt that the first aid given to him by the paramedics alongside the Bolton and Spurs medical staff at WHL saved his life. Well done to them all

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Great news if he is stable, and what Tony said about Bolton and Spurs' medical staff, and the paramedics who attended him so well, and indeed saved his life.

Top news
Fabrice Muamba "has been able to recognise family members and respond to questions appropriately", his club Bolton and hospital have jointly said.
He can "breathe independently" but remains in intensive care after a cardiac arrest on Saturday.
A joint statement by the London Chest Hospital and Bolton said he continues "to show signs of improvement".
It adds: "His condition remains serious and our medical staff will continue to monitor and treat him."
An earlier statement had said "he is also moving his arms and legs" but "his long-term prognosis will remain unclear for some time".
keep in there lad

Really glad to hear he's improving. Such an awful thing to happen at such a young age.

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Good job the transfer window is shut. Sam would have tried to buy him in his current state. More use than Dyer was to be honest.
