Can't agree with that Arran. He is a decent, experienced Premier League defender. WBA's player of the season last year

I hope the Diame statement is true. We are missing a central midfield player who can not only break up play but has the pace and power to run at defences

going by the rumours the one to sign next week or later this will be Holt

I see there is rumour floating about a turkish bloke (name escapes me now). Apparently scored 33 goals in 34 games last season. Ah Yismal is the fella? get him!

Have just read that we have increased our offer for Holt to just over 5 Million . Dunno how true it is , about 3 million up front and rest based on appearances. Seems a bit high for a 31yr old but he is proven in the premier. Lets hope the good times has reached us at last & we don't spend another year buying injury prone player's here for one last pay off.

Holt has had one season in the premiership in his career, he did well with 17 goals, but does not have a great disciplinary record, is 31 and I think will be found out this year by top defenders. Hope we don't pay £5m for him, way over the top IMHO.

Holt is too old for that type of money.
