Re: fursdee mornin fred
Not fully recovered from a chest infection of a couple of weeks ago, rough nights sleep.
Booked off sick after half my shift, struggling to breathe, coughing up shite.
Felt like I was on 80 a day
Doctors this aft, see what they say.

Re: fursdee mornin fred
**cough**
As Tone says, got the inhaler and told to have a good blast on it. 10 hits as opposed to the usual 2, then use as required.
I have to take 8 steroid tablets in the morning for the next week. That on top of what I already take, I'm going to positively rattle. Doc was quite specific about the morning and when I asked why she said, "well, they will keep you awake, seriously wide awake, one of the side effects"
Went down to the hospital for a chest X-ray. Picture taken and they said I need to make an appointment with my doctor in 5 days or so, (which I have done), for the results.
Doc seems to think I've either suddenly become asthmatic or it's an allergic reaction to something possibly pollen or something atmospheric.
All I know is I felt really seriously ill before but feel much better now.
Anyroadup, 'lympics is on, innit

Re: fursdee mornin fred
These steroids are bloody marvelous.
Seriously ill yesterday, all find and dandy today.
No wonder athletes and cyclists like them so much
