Young Hammer in tricks vid
Thought some of you might like to see a young Hammer who comes to Åland to visit his Dad who is managing our top Ladies football team. He proudly wears the shirt in some shots. Not sure how many takes some of them took - he assured me not many! - but he is pretty good. and he's not bad at the real game as he plays with my son's team when he is over.

11 or 12, Geez, not older than 12 as he is playing for a 1999 team. He lives in England but comes to visit his Dad over
here. Both Hammers. Has played for my son's team & he can do it
on the pitch. Our lads only had their first 11 a side at Easter &
he's been playing 11 a side for a while. He played up front for us on
friday.

His Dad was involved in coaching around Staines/Surrey where he lives so I think he is 'in the system' already. Don't think he is signed up to any pro clubs though.

Isn't Staines in Surrey? I'm out of my depth over that way so far west. Both are in Wales aren't they?.
:joker:
His Dad coached at a few Surrey non-league clubs & played for Aldershot. Both West Ham!

Re: Young Hammer in tricks vid
Ahhh...that young boy is impressive...Reminded me of Rocky, training with everyday stuff.
Could be a story developing here.....Goes on to sign for West Ham, put through the best Academy in the country, half a season playing in the reserves, the other half forced into the first team because of injuries and then sold to the highest bidder - probably the yids.....
Sorry, it's how I feel at the mo.......maybe we will have sorted ourselves out by then?

No idea Jiggs. I've always thought as it was out west it would be in Surrey - or Berkshire or somewhere like that!

Found this Johnny on Yahoo answers...
Just like our part of Essex is now part of London.....if they carry on we'll have to rename the Country - London!
Staines is a Thames-side town in the Spelthorne borough of Surrey and part of the London Commuter Belt of South East England, but remains within the postal county of Middlesex.
Mind you Middlesex doesn't exist now either following an updating of counties in the 1990's - only the post office now seem to use it - Middlesex has been superceded by Greater London.
Although north of the Thames was always Middlesex, in 1965 the Staines and Sunbury Councils transferred to the new Administrative County of Surrey.Source(s):

Re: Young Hammer in tricks vid
erhem - back on track - although strangely Enfield has Middlesex in it's address. Weird eh - for a county that doesn't exist - someone has some explaining to do.
