Mousers - will Rodgers last? Empty Mousers - will Rodgers last?

Oh dear, oh dear, Mousers in the bottom three...... Smile
Do you think they will keep faith with Rodgers past Christmas if it still looks shitty? I'm rather hoping that he actually gets some results and hangs on, because any new bloke coming in will have Carroll back there like a shot. As I see it, our best chance of hanging on to Carroll is if the "Rodgers plan" actually starts working without him.

They were unlucky today, and I don't think they will be near the bottom for long. This should see the manager keep his job. As for keeping Carroll? I don't think we'll be that lucky dude.....

Rodgers really has set himself up for a big fall with his constantly harping on about his "grand plan" and his treatment of Carroll who I think is a popular player among football fans in general after his displays for England

I hope they fail but I hope we keep Carroll more and agree that our chances of keeping him will improve if they succeed

I think it was made well clear that his appointment is a project. It has been sold to the fans as that and it is incredibly early to formulate any judgement of his ability. He has not been bought in to fire-fight, there is no expectation of anything except steadying and turning round the club.

I would say a few would go before him.

Well that's true, but then Rodgers did say about Gerard that he doesn't have to leave Liverpool, that he CAN win the league there. Which is blatantly a load of shite

You're quite correct,JDLK, but Vilas Boas at Chelsea was supposed to be a long-term "project" too. I can't really see the Mouser support actually accepting low expectations, and I don't think they can stomach being at the wrong end of the table for very long.

All they need is a goalscorer to play ahead of Suarez and they would be fine. That is why letting Carroll go was a massive faux pas by Rogers

Unfortunately for us I can see Andy Carroll returning to Anfield on Jan 1st to fill that void

Their youngsters did a damn sight better than ours yesterday, sounded like a good game against WBA who put out an almost full strength tean. i can't see them staying down the bottom to long. Just hope that Southapton and that smug wnaker Adkins, QPR and Reading all remain at the wrong end and below us, I'd add Wigan as well but I think they will be OK this season.

They will get out of the bottom three sooner rather than later but whilst they are there I will enjoy myself 'talking' to the Liverpoo fans at w**k [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
