A cv that boasts abusing American tourists the day after 9/11, bottling a nightclub bouncer & shagging a team-mates Mrs, as well as his racist slurs.
Personally never rated him that highly. Lots of finger pointing & gesticulating but gives away fouls far too easily & gets dragged out of position on a regular basis. Has to play with a quality defensive partner to look good himself. Not as good as he thinks he is.

he is all of what was said above in regards to his personality but as a player he was good is now getting old and hard to say it but was probably our best defender in the euros few months ago but glad he's retired though

Mixed feelings here. Don't like him as a bloke whatsoever, but IMO he is still England's best central defender and will be missed ON the pitch. We saw from the Ukraine game how poor Lescott and Jagielka were as a pair - particularly their distribution. I hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the bum
