ALBION have moved to clarify developments regarding Peter Odemwingie after the striker was filmed a short while ago arriving at Loftus Road.

The club can confirm they have held further discussions with QPR today but those talks have so far proven fruitless and no agreement has been reached.

Albion would also like to make clear that Peter has not been given permission to speak to QPR about a potential move.

The system is a circus to create media frenzy. I really don't see what purpose it serves. Another uefa/fifa gimmick that screws over the smaller clubs in favour of the rich. You can guess what happened. Arsenal think qpr may make a move so go in to action.

Arsenal trying to sign a left back & qpr tied up with signing 2 spurs players & Odemwingie banging on the door! Could be good for us if their attention is somewhere else.

What I don't understand is they say that Odemwingie had a clause in his contract triggered. Why can wba block it? They want to bring in another forward first.

Glad I worked till half 9 to be honest. I dunno how many times I read on hear diame's clause has been trigger then someone else posting no bids so far

Well thats it untill the summer and no more signings but we still have Diame at UP who apparently is demanding 80k a week according to the current bun

Does look a bit one footed though

Been away for the day and just got back. Felt I had to say I was disappointed with the transfer window at the end as far as our club is concerned. Glad it is over but got to say I cannot see why we have loan out a first team player with the situation we are in.

Still we now know who we have to work with up to the end of the season. Feel it will be close in the end and just hope Sam and our squad are up to it.

I am disappointed too. We have known that we needed another left back even last season. McCartney has been plagued by injuries for the past few years so to go into a PL season with only ONE recognised senior left back was a gamble to say the least

Jussi has been disappointing all season so why were we not sounding out Paul Robinson way before Xmas? Maybe we were but it didn't come off. I would suggest Sam finding an experienced out of contract keeper to bring in as competition/back-up to Jussi. An unproven 19 year old as back-up is just not good enough. We don't even have Henri Lansbury to go in goal anymore!
