Re: Demba Ba
Why not? Carroll + Ba, starting to like this. now loan in Zaha and there are goals a plenty there. One good creative midfielder and a right back and thats us done.

I heard rumour of a £40m kitty but that seems high to me. In any case Demba Ba would be a loan signing dude

Hugh Southen said there was a £25M kitty (wages excl), and we have not paid out the full £15M for carroll , the cash to the scouse will be in a few installments
so we may well still have a reasonable amount of cash to spend

Re: Demba Ba
Apparently we are looking to sell Henderson, Diarra and Maiga. All funds received to go on new players.

Hope we didn't use a backstreet Scouse money-lender; their rates make Wonga look like a charity

I would like to keep Diarra. Exactly the holding player we need. Must have been a clash with BFS that sent him on his way as it cannot have been ability. He played every game for France in WC2010 and looked good when he played for us. Can also play centre back and we are short on them

Agreed Tony. Would be a shame if bridges have been prematurely broken.

Only according to the papers mate. I have the feeling that Ba doesn't want to leave Chelsea and certainly not back to usmanurewa hammer wrote:seems this one is back on again?
